My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking quesitons or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Subaru Legacy Outback. I would rate the exterior of this Legacy wagon to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. It is finished in Willow Green over tan interior, which is a nice color combination. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Subaru...just a few small scrapes and scratches here and there. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Legacy to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets and seats show a few marks from age but are not excessviely worn. Both front seats are heated. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system appears to be working properly and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. These are great, great cars. They are spacious and comfortable...not to mention rugged and capable. Mechanically, this Subaru Outback appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light was on when this Subaru came in. The code was "vehicle speed sensor / TCM". The engine seems to run fine and she gets around quite well. I suspect there is a faulty speed sensor or bad connection somewhere. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Winter is coming. An AWD Subaru is a good way to be ready for snow.
